PROJECT THEME

The project OPENEON follows the present trends, bringing art and design closer to general public. With the help of neon technology it “brings to light“ today‘s cultural and social issues, it confronts the public not only with the contemporary design, but also with the visual expression of given topics. Thus the public gets to know visual communication as discipline that can both express critical view on the present political and social issues and be relevant in the context of contemporary art. The task of OPENEON is to exhibit and to educate, it enhances alternative tourism, collaboration and building cultural networks.
